Pont du Gard
Having children that graduated from a Classic high school means that all things Roman must be explored. Pont du Gard is great example of the Roman aqueduct system that still survives. I stayed to the lower portion or maybe we should say the middle while Elizabeth climbed to the top.
Who Is This Group
We stopped outside of Avignon to take our group picture. We were a busy group that included couples, families, friends and singles. We ranged in age from mid-seventies to the youngest Elizabeth at 16. Geographically most of our group was from the Pacific Northwest but there were a couple of people from east of the Mississippi as well. We did enjoy the buddy system as a way of making sure that everyone was there before we started our group activities. Being with the only multicolored haired person in the group though, I knew that she would be the one that they would miss and just tried to make sure we were together so that I would not be left behind for any of the fun things.
